I took the plunge and moved from Lebanon ( Hunterdon County) to Sedona this month. Actually the VOC to be technical. While I will miss my beloved Round Valley and Chimney Rock, this is a whole new world to explore on two wheels. I bought a house that has a great guestroom with a killer view and can easily accommodate singles, couples and maybe three in a pinch. If you are planning to come out this way send me an email and we'll see if we can work out logistics. I'm not in this for money although in the future I might do an Air BNB thing. One of the best shops in the area local to me is the Sedona Bike and Bean, and curiously is managed by a guy named Tony from High Bridge...LOL reach me here zestymac@gmail.com

Cheers, Rick

Congrats on the move...Love it in Sedona!

I think you will have lots if friends visiting. congrats on the move. you might have to do airbnb to support your bike habit.

I've been semi-planning AZ for a few weeks this winter (feb/march). I'm definitely going to hit you up!

Watch out for the vortexes and time share scams!

I spent a week there in '95. It was one of my first big bike vacations. Pretty awesome area. Sedona Bike &Bean was the best shop in town back then. They had a large three-dimensional topographic map of the area. All of the trails on it too. It was the size of a pool table and was the highlight of the store. That is by far the coolest thing I have ever seen in a bike shop.

Im going to be attending the Sedona festival next year in 2017. Then going to Durango.

Its my dream to move out west but I am stuck here for now.
