those people who do contingent planning here specified:

1. move generator to near garage
2. buy 10 gal gas
3. make sure we have at least 1 full propane
4. bring shovels inside back door
5. beer & wine (this moved up priority list)
6. charge all phones and back-ups (did i mention we have a generator?)
7. fill up gas tanks of all cars
8. move all outdoor furniture to secure position
9. fill up buckets and pots with water

oofa - now to the beer thread.

I'm not going out today but planning to hit the park roads near high point tomorrow around noon. Start at the bottom of Sawmill and do the loop around Ridge road. Hopefully the snowmobiles will have the place packed down by then. PM if anyone is interested in meeting up.

Will you adopt me?
Come by anytime Paul, actually did realize we're running low on vino till now, at least 3 cases short, gotta make a run to trader joes and Costco after this storm blows over, still have a case of sake and soju in there so not terribly worried

Thinking of a lap or two around the manasquan reservoir tomorrow morning... test out the snow legs

how was the fluff? im getting antsy, noone else wanted to go out so i might just go to the woods down the block and see what i can get away with

somewhere between 0 and 4' as i look out the back door. the drift against the back door is up to my waist......

i started measuring the fatboy to find the right size frame bag. gonna lose some overall volume in the frame but itl probably motivate me to shed excess crap i dont need. on the flipside i can run a bigger seatbag and jerry can

really dont want to do something stupid like clean

Finally got a chance to ride the fat bike. Pretty much impossible where there was snow that wasn't plowed or packed down.

Morristown is full on Snowpocalypse. Hardly anyone out, can ride anywhere in the streets. Ran into a bunch of fat bikers on the green. Hung out at the Running Company for a bit as they are always open and used the warmth, headed over to Marty's for their 1pm fat bike ride. Me and one other guy showed up, nobody from Marty's. Lame.
