2016 Santa Cruz Hightower Carbon C / S+ build / 27+ wheels [$1700]

This is a perfect bike for someone moving into full suspension or looking for a lighter carbon bike without having to drop 2-4+ times this much $ on a new one. This bike will be equally at home at 6 mile, Ringwood, or Killington. The 27.5”+ tires have amazing traction and the bike can run a 29” wheelset as well if you prefer.

Condition:

• The bike is fully functional and frequently serviced. However, it does have a fair amount of cosmetic scratches from riding the great rocks of north Jersey.
• Almost new SRAM 11 speed drive train (crank, cassette, chain)
• The brakes (SRAM guides) were just bled and the pads are new. Rotors are less than a year old.
• The bearings were changed in the last year and an extra set of new bearings is included.
• The fork (RockShox Pike) was replaced in 2022 with a refurbished one. I can include the original fork for spare parts if you want.
• The shock (RockShox Monarch RL) was new in 2021. This was also serviced in 2022. I can include the original for spare parts if you want.
• Tires are Maxxis Minions DHF 27.5*2.8” EXO. Set up tubeless.
• Everything else is stock.
• Freebees included (spare derailleur hanger, spare tube, fork spacers, pedals as shown)

This is the bike that changed everything for me. It's not the most modern version but for the right buyer, it will set their riding on fire.
