It had to be a slippery mess on the rocks and bridges with all that humidity and it not drying out.Deplorable at best.. mud wrestling turned around but too late
The heat and humidity scared me away yesterday.Deplorable at best.. mud wrestling turned around but too late
any potential for alt lines on that Danbury trail to spice it up?@snashters was there and tells me they finished corridor clearing on the White Reroute (green line). Still will take a lot of work to get it good but if you're curious, it's not hard to find. Still not officially open though. Last I heard they're also trying to get the new Danbury Trail from Long Hill Rd to Chunky Monkey open for 4th of July weekend. If they do, I'll update Trailforks. I've ridden it and it's mediocre doubletrack mostly. Starts right about at the "530" on the map.

thanks. I think i know those rocks. Is that near the intersection with Chunky Monkey that's closer to Pipeline?Tree down on 3 Amigos
That’s what it appears to me. Facing the part of the trail that goes to chunky/pipeline. This spot but from the other side.thanks. I think i know those rocks. Is that near the intersection with Chunky Monkey that's closer to Pipeline?
Yup. That’s the spot. There’s a second tree down (smaller one) .10 mile past that location covering another feature (heading towards pipeline)That’s what it appears to me. Facing the part of the trail that goes to chunky/pipeline. This spot but from the other side.
Not much overgrowth or thorny spots from what I rode. I did have to cut the ride short though and bail down the pipeline after a bike mechanical issue with one of the riders I was withThanks. I was actually thinking of a different spot but i was close. Reported to Rangers. Also, how bad are the prickers? i haven't been down there in quite a while.
