Sprinkler controller

Need to replace our 4 zone, internal sprinkler controller. Anything I should be worried about? Looks no worse than a thermostat with a wire for each zone.

i converted to B-hyve - was easy to install and control via app.
i have 6 zones - 5 sprinkler, 1 drip.

I have the Rachio smart controller and it's great. Very easy but also powerful features. Was a direct swap from the old mechanical hunter it replaced.

Just put a rain bird in a work. Easily programmable. Small box.

Anybody running ground moisture sensors?
I have predictive and a rain gauge, but would rather use 'actuals'

Does your system support them? Mine does not, only typical rain sensors plus ability to integrate with a personal weather station for more precise actual forecast data.

One thing i did add to my system a while back was a fertigator (liquid fertilizer injection system). Instead of dumping granules, it delivers a minute amount every time it waters. Sadly, the price of water soluble organic fertilizer bags has doubled in the past 5 years but i still use it.

Yes. I believe by zone.

Fertilizer is interesting. Never heard of that one.
