I was riding my specialized carbon comp at Mahlon Dickerson with @jimmy g yesterday and whammo! I clipped a 6" cut off log and it stops me completely. Well I thought I was effed but thx to one atrong ass carbon derailleur I was able to get it back into shape. It actually functions like nothing happened but in reality I need to eeplace the rear derailleur. Or the "long" cage(outside minimum if anyone has something used that will fit). Basically the carbon fiber delaminated on impact and did not snap thankfully so it sprung back into place. So if anyone has used parts or a new one laying around I am interested. Have only seen around $180 for a new unit so far. @jimvreeland
