The East Coast (NJ) needs an Ultra 100 mile race to cap off the series.Cool idea.
We could do a Iron Furnace, Lucky, Bearscat, Stephens, MTBNJ Stewart (if endurance) local Endurance Race Series. Call it the “North Jerzy Rocks Endurance Series”.
I will check with my SW boys to see if something is brewing there on the Island.They were going to replace it with something (they left a teaser)
@Mitch
You’re reading my mind ?Cool idea.

Why not! If this idea gets some traction; I would be glad to reach out to the PJ folks.Yeah. Can't forget the Erie 80! Probably one of my favorite places to race. Sucks its so far away.
So this must be what he was alluding to . Very interesting.........Saw a MAC schedule with no HPCX so last weekend of Oct should be open.
A possibility too but the weekend after Erie 80 is not ideal. Especially if we are thinking series-wise. Also less than a month away from our Cx race. We barely have help as it is I don’t want to overwhelm people.Not sure what you guys have planned for the CX race but 10-24 might be a bit safer option.
I appreciate the concern but are you thinking safer as in weather? Who the hell knows with our current patterns...Not sure what you guys have planned for the CX race but 10-24 might be a bit safer option.
Nov 7?
So you're doing a MTB race on the same day and event space as the CX race? Awesome. Fun for the whole family.
Are you calling it Waterloo CX? I think it's taken.
🙂
Whatchu talkin bout Willis? What Cx race? I’m confused?
I just solved all your problems in life. You're doing a MTB race during CX Season. So run both at the same venue. You have areas that supports the CX race. Heck, do it over at Tilcon lake and you can have a UCI friendly start on the pavement...
Gives people something to spectate while their significant other is doing the MTB race. If the timing works out people can do two races, one MTB, one CX.
If you're going to be hanging out for hours while people are in the woods, may as well run a CX race at the same time!
