This one?Neglected to grab a picture but small tree down on hally toe right around 3/4 of the way up. Handsaw would take care of the portion that's actually in the trail. Will update with TF marker.
No, it's on the corresponding climbing trail "hally toe" to the left in that image.
Think I got that one on Monday, I was able to leverage/roll it off the trail. The center of that tree was like steel. Forgot to post it up. Ride On!No, it's on the corresponding climbing trail "hally toe" to the left in that image.
Nice work! This would have been on Wed evening though, seemed like it was very recent. We cleared out all of the other debris but still a portion of the tree blocking the trail. Honestly more like a large branch than a chainsaw project, but still not something that you can just ride through.Think I got that one on Monday, I was able to leverage/roll it off the trail. Much appreciated!!I got into Stephens today. I wanted to get that large obstruction on Tally Ho, which I did. But just a few feet uphill from that was a bonus blowdown that (again) blocked both Hally To and Tally Ho. From what I can gather, that came down yesterday!! That area is a real hotspot these days. I did the entire Hally>Tally Loop and nothing else jumped out at me.
Then I headed to the reported blockage just at the beginning of the Mulch Pit climb. Easy to access from the entrance road to the mulch pit, where the dump trucks go.
My final loop was from Continental drive. I hit "SSP-Canal Lower" to the incline plane, then back along the "Morris Canal greenway". 1 clearing, and two tune ups.
This catches me up in the park with one exception: There's a report of a larger tree down somewhere on the red/white trail out by the Ranger station. If Someone happens upon that, can you please get me a GPS location and a pic/description? Thanks!!
YesIs it safe to ride here after the rain we've had this week?
These are now gone.
