People are always making the trails to easy. Wasps are great training tool, the fear of getting stung in the face will make you pick up the pace.

​ Big news from Sterling Forest! The “No Electric Bicycle” signs have officially been removed, and NY State Parks has updated its policy to allow Class-1 e-bikes on multi-use trails. What this means: Class-1 e-bikes (see below) are now welcome anywhere that standard mountain bikes are permitted. What hasn’t changed: Hiking-only trails remain closed to all bicycles—electric or acoustic. A huge thanks to PIPC and NY State Parks for refining their policies to make these incredible trails more accessible to everyone. If you love riding at Sterling, please consider making a donation to help us continue funding new trail builds and improvements throughout the park system. Every contribution goes directly back into creating more world-class singletrack for all riders. ​
