Stone Japanese Green Tea IPA

If you come across this beer in your nearest liquor store, I recommend picking up a bottle or 2. It has a nice floral hop taste to it. Maybe a soft honey taste to it as well. The alcohol taste is very well hidden. Its an interesting beer. The green tea taste is subtle but you can detect it. If you can find it give it a try. never thought about mixing tea and beer...

Where did you find this? I could fall off the wagon for this guy.

seriously... where'd you find this? I've tried to get a hold of various collaboration brews before and I've come up empty handed.

Call them up and ask for Vito Ratti (owner) or Dan Ratti (son). If they don't have it they will get it.

Norm, were you able to find this beer? If not, I came across it a Joe Canals in Iselin as well. If you did have it what were your thoughts?

I have 1 sitting in my cabinet waiting for me to drink it. No thoughts yet, though I did try the Stone Cherry Chocolate one and thought it wasn't worth the hype.

I hope there is another one too!:getsome:

I'm supposed to have more in the pipeline, 2 of which are sitting with someone in the IPA tournament, and a few more sitting with some crazy chick who loves Gordon's rod that loves beer. So it's entirely possible I never see either 😛

If that's the case we'll split that 1 at the annual Zurawski Season Ending Bike Bash. No backwash yo.

This presumes I don't get impatient and drink it first...

oh now the story changes!

What was the last story?

I have 3 of the Chocolate Cherry beers left. One of them has your name on it. I actually wrote it in finger paint though so the beauty of the bottle is kinda ruined.

I haven't tried the stone Cherry chocolate stout, but I won't seek it out. I've never been impressed with the fruity stouts. While I do love me a good stout, these fruity ones just arent my cup of beer.

The Green Tea IPA, however... I would definitely buy that stuff if I saw it in a store.
