Reminds me of sitting in traffic on Saturday. Guy on a Harley with Ape Hangers so tall that he could barely reach them. Wife asked if I think the guy knows what an idiot he looks like.

I always wonder how compromised the control of the motorcycle is with those things.

When I asked a dude here at work, he said it actually isn't too bad. He mentioned especially while changing lanes, just lean a bit and it goes.

My Dad's been a big Harley guy my whole life. And pretty much always ridden mini-Apes which are roughly shoulder height. Honestly it handles completely fine. You do a lot more leaning and counter steering on motorcycles than people who've never ridden realize.

You can get specific tandem racks but I managed to get it home like this.....

It went really well. We both really enjoyed it. Too bad the weather is going to very quickly be too cold for her to even consider riding it.
