Another great Fall day

I rode Dickerson Mine yesterday afterwork but no pics to prove it. Riding the new section back to wrap up the ride I passed about half a dozen people riding Surrons (or similar) and a quad. They were courteous and got out of our way but I'm amazed at how many of them are out there now. Being so quiet I don't see them until I'm practically on top of them. They saw me coming though so got out of the way.

Was it also an e-quad? Lots of chatter on the FB boards about rampant Surrons on bike trails in NJ

I don't think it was an e-quad but I don't know for sure. By the time I got to them they were already stopped on the side of the trail waiting for me to pass by but I don't recall hearing any gas engine driven vehicles in the woods.

Forgot to take a pic while on the trail so grabbed this at the car. Certainly gives it away... 🙂

Side note:

I'm pretty new here still and have a question for you all...

In other sport forums I'm a part of, like Kayak Fishing for example, one of the key benefits of the forum for everybody is to post up when you plan to head out so that members can join and meet up with each other. It's great to not go alone as there is a safety factor to heading out with at least one other.

Is there a way to do that on this forum? Is there a "Meet Ups" element here where folks post when they want to head out to see if anybody else wants to join or it's more about just creating your own network of friends as you go? Is it not ok to post locations before heading out?
