The Guitar Player Thread.

why is that?
I dunno…sentimental value maybe? Also I’ve abused the shit out of it and it’s been through some very rowdy gigs; has never needed much more than a slight Truss adjustment here and there. I got it around 2004 before their quality control went to shit so I guess I got lucky.

it's funny, i was telling my wife, my acoustic and my uke have way more sentimental value for me. i've played them constantly for my kids as they were growing up, etc...whereas the electric was just me, jamming solo, in my headphones....anyways, thanks for the feedback!

Once you learn the November Rain solo there's no reason to pick up a Les Paul ever again 🤣

I know. It was so weird. It could actually be why I hate Les Pauls so much.
In general I am not an LP guy, I think I really did just get lucky with mine. As someone that started out playing Deftones, System of a Down, etc.... it has an amazing NuMetal sound. Super thick and tight at high gain.

I don't remember how I ended up with it. My main guitar at that point was an Ibanez S8, and I used a Satriani Signature in Halo-Gen(eration). Someone must've traded me something for it. We had an entire Studio filled with gear in those days so there was shit everywhere.
