The REAL BIYF

Thanks, but I’m trying to bow out quietly. Most of my rides are not going to count this year as they will be less than an hour. Not a complaint, just my schedule. If I’m able, I‘ll be back in next year. Go get em @w_b .
@stb222 , not looking to derail this contest, simply responding to kind folks posts. Everyone enjoy and stay warm.

Not really liked but understood. You too Vic, looking forward to riding together soon.

15 minute deduction on every ride @rick81721 does. The word winter means something totally different in Florida.😛

The 15 minutes can be tacked onto any ride @Kaleidopete (he prolly won't take the extra time because what real man would do such a thing) who mans up every year and has regular visits to Old Man Winter's living room.

Ha my times don't count anyways. BTW, on the autotrain right now - heading south. ?

I try to make it out to the crash site at least once a year. In 1974, a Boeing 727, enroute to Buffalo to pick up the Baltimore Colts, crashed in Harriman State Park. What's truly surreal about it, is the pile of fuselage parts at the bottom of the memorial. As people find parts of the aircraft on their hikes, they pick them up and place them at the bottom of the memorial.

obligatory creepy mansion photo

side note - rode with my buddy @CrankAddictRich - we rode all the same trails, at basically the same pace...his wahoo (with garmin speed sensor mounted on front wheel) showed 29.85 miles, while my garmin (no speed sensor on wheel) only logged 26.97 miles...i was robbed of almost 3 miles (note, this is not a BIYF time complaint, just a strava, mileage nerd rant...carry on)
