Things that make you frown :(

If you buy a brand new battery from Autozone, they install it for free. When their shitty battery fails after only 1 year and gets replaced under warranty, they will not install it. Wtf kinda policy is that?
That’s because Autozone shit is…..shit

Should shop a dealer as OEM is often competitive in pricing. My battery was cheaper from a dealer.

what makes some people think they're so special?

i have an advertiser who keeps sending things wrong (wrong size, RGB, pdf without embedded fonts, jpg file, etc) and he is completely wasting my f-ing time. here are the specs. make your ad fit these specs. why am i wasting so much time on your emails right now? i pointed out what needs to be fixed so fix it. i don't care if the specs say "include a photo of a monkey eating a banana"... JUST DO IT.

p.s. this ad is actually a conference swap deal so they're not actually paying for it either.

I have had 2 conversations with 1-800-got-junk today. I wanted an estimate for 3 retail counters. Each measure 60"x20"x38". I emailed them photos. Both people told me they need to send someone out to calculate how much space these will take up on a truck. I asked the first person if they had anyone there that knows math, because it's really not hard to calculate the volume. So, yeah. They're sending someone to see how big 60x20x38 is in person.

In the bike lane portion of my Mroadie local ride yesterday, I'm about to overtake another rider. As I'm exchanging pleasantries during the pass, turn my attention back ahead of me and see another rider coming towards me, really fast. I then realize, it's a dude on a tri-bike, dimpled helmet and tri-kit, full aero going against the flow. I wave him off and he just waves his hand from the aero bars and continues on. There's an empty bike lane in the lane going the other way. WTF?

One plus of closing my shop is no longer having to deal with Tri-geeks.
