This Thread Blows - C19 and beyond

They have automatically scheduled my second dose for 4/9. Received by email.
Don't attempt to change that. My email for the second dose came a few minutes after the first shot. It had a button to press to change it and I'd prefer an early appointment. I pressed the button and all it did was cancel my appointment. No option to reschedule for a different time. Oops. About 3 days later I received another appointment for the middle of the day again. I guess I'll have to live with that.

I was told this past Wednesday that someone I was in contact with a week and a half ago as the COVID virus. I felt fine and had no symptoms and some goes for everyone in my family but I went and got tested that day anyway. Test came back as negative. However, for some reason I think I probably did get it at one point and just got better without any symptoms showing and same goes for my family. Next time if I need to get tested I think I might get an antibody test done as well.

Fun fact: If you donate blood to the American Red Cross, they do Covid-19 antibody tests as well and you can check the status on their app/website

2 huge positives.

I was in and out of the Rowan megasite in 35 minutes yesterday compared to the hour it took 3 weeks ago. They really figured it out down there. Barely stopped walking through the campus the entire time.

2nd shot (Pfizer) is giving me little to no side effects 20 hours in after the 1st shot messed me up pretty good.

Getting much easier down here, and several outlets are now offering a choice. Publix has signup monday and friday am for moderna a few days later, or wednesday sign up for J&J on the weekend. We signed up on our county site today as backup but this morning I logged onto Publix and could have gotten a moderna shot on friday. But will be in WI hunting so declined. Now our strategy is to snag an appt next wednesday for the J&J vaccine - will get it that weekend and then we are done.

All blood donations are doing it. My brother had covid last nov - he gave blood a few weeks ago and his antibody titre was so high he's going back next week to donate antibody plasma for treatment.

My SIL in NC didn’t even make an appointment. The state has a surplus, so every Friday you can get a drive through line and sit in your car and get the shot.

Was just called by Penn Med to make an appointment but the number came up 'spam risk' and I was at work. I couldn't get back in contact with anyone. Tried for 40 min and a few transfers...

Also I heard the National Guard telling someone, they have extras daily and a line forms around 4-5 pm to wait and see how many they have so if anyone is near the Gloucester site, it may be worth a shot.
