This Thread Blows - C19 and beyond

That’s a lot of words. I’d bet less than 5% of the people who share it actually read the whole thing.
I sure as hell ain’t reading it! Lol.

I'm 100% not saying people shouldn't vaccinated. I'm pro vaccine and if you haven't had Covid you should probably get the vaccine.

But the point people are trying to make out is previous infection can provide more benefit than the vaccine and the CDC is confirming this.

I had both vaccines pretty early on so my immunity has probably wavered a large amount. Yet I can get into bars/restaurants in the city, theaters in NJ, etc while someone who has natural immunity without a vaccine cannot.

Except the sentence before the one you highlighted is the opposite. Things change, new data is collected....... yada yada yada.

The problem with people arguing one side vs the other is that one person will take your highlighted sentence and shout how the big bad scary gubbmnet wants to control us and eat our children, while the other person will only quite the previous sentence while yelling at everyone to wear double masks and hazmat suits..... In reality, IDFK.

So the only constant is that having a previous infection and being vaccinated has been better than either by themselves. So even if you had a previous infection, you'd still be better off also being vaccinated. So, what's the problem?

So, what's the problem?
This is what I can not figure out.
I was nervous when I got the shot, but I was more nervous about getting Covid. Even with omicron seemingly being less deadly that other variants, al lot of people are still dying. And I certainly don't want to die, I definitely don't want to be so sick, I need to go to the hospital.

Well the issue that people have there is there's no real testing to know if it's actually safer. You're getting getting a blood based infection with the spike protein vs respiratory. So the thought (I have no idea if valid or not, nobody probably does) is that that can lead to more health issues that getting Covid as a respiratory disease again.

I think the problem is that you can’t prove it? I know the vax cards are easy to forge but it’s something. Anyone can say they took an at home Covid test and quarantined and now they’re good.

One night my wife and I were in the city, and I told her we need to make a slight detour. Then I got on a random bike that was locked up and had her take my picture. I didn't explain to her why until afterward. I think I posted it in Paul's thread.
No doubt that bike has seen some shit...homeless people, hookers, and you!

Easy there Tom.

It isn't like you agree with all govt policy and law,
and make no attempt to cover your protest.
