Trail Maintenance

Thurs

I will be doing some bridge work thus Thursday morning if anyone can lend a hand.
 
We are putting in a new bridge at the split of the red/white trails, west of south middlebush road.

We should be out there by 9 or so. You can easily park at Jacques lane and ride to where we are working. You will find us for sure.

Jay I am going to try to make it. I have to move a few things but I am only good till 11:30 if I make it... what time do you start? 7:00AM ?

Fantastic work out there today. Very pleased w/ the results.

There is still a HUGE amount of dirt that need moving, but this is a pretty cool new feature.
 
Tried the new "features" today.

J, you will be proud of me, I actually went over both of them! The one over the creek...be sure you keep your speed up LOL. I wasnt going fast enough and got to the top and thought I would need to put a foot down and went "Oh sh*t I cant!" and so had to pedal hard, which was even scarier 😱
next time I will be prepared and make a nice smooth fast shot over it.

Looks nice. Maybe I'll head up next week before leaving for Raystown lake next weekend.

I knew you could ride them! This is NOT the bridge to fall off of.


By the time I left at 3 I could barely move. ( I left my house at 6am!)
 
i hit these bridges today (totally by accident, I usually turn off for the white trail before this area) and they are AWESOME!!!! thanks for all the work that you guys put into it. makes a great park even better!

We need some more wood, if you have any pressure treated lumber that you can part w/!
