this is our ridgeline with a 14 foot old town canoe and a perception tandem kayak

i got the bed extender off amazon a few years back. i will find that link

it works well enough - it’s pretty goofy having more boat hanging out the back of the bed than is actually in the bed, but it works

there are tons of different ones on amazon…this is the one i got back 2021

it was only $95 back then…looks like prices have nearly doubled since 😬

I'm considering getting a Maverick partially to haul kayaks, mine are 11 and 13 footers But the maverick bed is only 54", about 10" shorter than the Ridgeline. I wished they came back out with the midgates, they have so much good utility uses, currently only the Silverado has one, but too much truck for me. Which points are you strapping them down?

Get the maverick my wife loves hers. I have a real truck so the 13 foot kayak barely hangs past my Tailgate when it's down but we put the 10fters in hers with the hitch extender and it doeant look too crazy
