Twin Six Standard Fat?

Ti

Agree Ti looks 110 times better than any carbon frame and I don't need nor want stiff. Some flex is nice especially if I'm getting a hard tail. Ti is just something you have forever. I think I read specialized fatboy sl was a $5500 bike. That's a joke. $5500 for an aluminum fat bike. Really? No, seriously stop it. I would be more than happy to invest 5-7k on this frame and build it up the way I want. I9 carbon wheelset, xx1 drivetrain. Easily under 25 lbs. easy peasy. On top of that I don't have a super stiff frame or a really cheap (and just stupid) aluminum frame made in taiwan. Yes it appears the twin six frame is made in Taiwan however if it was in us it would be like moots, a 5k frame.

And my riding buddy had a new specialized carbon epic that cracked. Please, stop it. Just stop. I'm not looking to race a fat bike. Yawn. I'm looking to invest in something really special and a cookie cutter carbon or aluminum frame is not stimulating my attention.

Dude your ranting at yourself it seems, your dough spend how you like. Lightest bikes built are carbon period be it xc, dh, road or fat. Are they for everyone, hells no.

Meh, Pat's bike is light because he runs like 40mm rims and 3 inch wide tires. We're discussing fat bikes here Pat 😉

Why buy a bike that lasts forever? Then you never get a new one...

How much can you get a cheap China Carbon fatty for?

Cheap but OP has got money to burn, he needs poser status. Maybe you can show how to spend to look fast
