***Used Heart Rate Monitor Wanted!!!!!

just started a new workout program at the gym to get ready for the season and i need a good heartrate monitor(polar w/ replaceable batteries, or a nice Garmin i can use for my bike after training is a plus).

i just can't see spending $200 to $400 on a heartrate monitor that i will probably stop using after this program. can anyone assist? anyone have an extra one or maybe you just don't use it anymore.

i really want to buy used to save some money.

forgot to add that one with GPS is a real PLUS since i can use that after my training and keep track of my rides.
 
I have a Polar that can be yours as long as you come pick it up, or pay shipping.

It is the non-recording type, though, only gives you instant heart rate.
 
that would definitely work for now(they required a recordable or downloadable ....but i don't care. does it show Zones?

where do you live?
 
I'm afraid it does not show zones. It's really basic.

I live in Lebanon (the town, not the country) and I work in Liberty Corner.
