I'm contemplating carbon bars, someone talk me out of it...

Carbon handlebars are great, best invention after the dropper post. Go for it. Nukeproof are junk though, go Renthal, Deity, Race Face or OneUp...

I would also consider carbon cranks if you can stomach seeing them chipped after your first ride.

P.S. what a douche title for the thread, hopefully it will change in about 17 minutes.

if they're junk then its pointless to get those, why are they junk just want to understand.

i need a better title but after the "how to avoid the draft" title and then 20 minutes later iran bombing US bases in Iraq last month I wanted to play it safe

Wonder how many times he'll lock up the "powerful" brakes in a turn and wipe out.

I lock up deore calipers this last ride and I haven't bleed them yet... go figure. I'd like more power but I have been having issues with brake fade, I am hoping larger pads with stop the fade.

Had RF 6C bars on my defunct trance
The difference between this and RF AL bars in terms of feel were really minute for me to warrant a drop of a buck fifty. Its prolly me... im really dense when it comes to things like this. But the wannabe weight weenie in me wants more carbon.

I noticed a huge improvement between the RF Turbine Al and the RF Next R Carbon. Do you think it may have had something to do with the different bike attached to them? Probably not a factor...
