So this one has been aging in my basement for 7.5 years... but the aging seems to have blunted the 11.5% ABV kick... at least some.

At the 1st communion party for my niece. My brother owns the local and gets samples. Picking through the cooler around the Miller Lites, Whiteclaws and Tonewoods, I found this.

Last one from yesterday. Didn't finish it, dumped it in the lawn and switched to water. It's not a Guinness.

At 7.5% ABV it's Guinness with a little more bite.

Sometimes I find bottles in my basement and have no idea how long they've been there...


Fortunately, the (likely excessive) aging didn't harm it. Typical pumpkin style ale. Not overly spiced and pretty good if you like this style.

Another from the "how long have I had this?" shelf. 7.5% so on the "light" side of my collection. Pretty good stout. The balance between the chocolate and cherry is good, creating a nice sweet and sour flavor.
