What beer are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

LVBP...meh. It's ok but...they do have a decent happy hour special...I think it was $3/pint until 6pm.

I figured that might be why it's just making my radar....
May spend the day the fair instead.

Whats the place on Sprinfield Ave. in or around the Berkely Heights area, Trap Rock Brew Pub or something??? How is that place?

Espresso Oak Aged YETI Imperial Stout revisited. For post-op medicinal purposes? Nicely effective.🙂

Okay- where are you getting this?
I can find the oak aged, but not with the espresso kicker.
And yes, more tasty than vicodin, I'm sure.

1st time: Bottle King Preakness shopping center in Wayne.

This time: Liquor Outlet Myrtle Ave, Boonton. < This place is incredible. Their craft brewery selection takes up an entire wall of this huge warehouse. It's almost an overwhelming selection. If I didn't know what I was looking for, I wouldn't have known where to start. :hmmm:I guess you could start at the upper left and drink your way across the store. 😀 At my rate, it would take forever.

I did try the Chocolate Oak Aged YETI last week, but that was not as smooth as this and was unpleasantly bitter. It just didn't didn't cut it.

Other than perhaps Halftime in Poughkeepsie, NY, this is the best place beer-wise that I've ever been.

Thank you- these are now both on my radar-
and it's been mentioned, but Shoprite in Byram expanded their craft beer section and have a silly selection to choose from.
My local place has about the same amount to choose from, but Byram has some nice deep tracks that I don't see elsewhere.

RESEARCH!

Not as heavy as i guessed it would be. Typical scotch ale profile. Strong malt with little to no hop flavor. The flavor is very smooth for a 8% beer.

Did you like this? It's from the same company as my favorite:

Has anyone else tried that espresso yeti yet? I seem to be hitting it every two weeks or so and it's dammmmmmmmmned good stuff. Now this is significant because I only have one beer every two weeks or so. It's jusyt too good to waste on my husband(who brought home Shiner Bock tonight. blech!). He's got no taste at all. His beer was like watered down chimney residue.

He said my stuff was like tar. Yeah, but it's dammned good tar, like you can chew it even. And look, it just got this rating: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/great-divide-espresso-oak-aged-yeti-imperial-stout/85174/ 100? and what does that say 9.5%abv? What do I know about ratings? I give it two big crossed eyes and one early to bed.😀
