The pile of dirt i had to dig out for the replacement pool seems to attract a lot of birds.

Not sure what this one is but it seemed to stare me down like I was the paparazzi. 😜

Saw bluebirds at the nest box back in mid-June. Seemed late but sometimes they do multiple broods in a season. They added nesting and laid eggs then nothing happened. I thought the heatwave in late June cooked 'em. Lately, I've seen them bringing food to the box, so checked and there are nestlings about to fledge.

Bald eagle overhead on my daily dog walk around the Shark River. Chock full of ospreys too.

Something I'd never seen down at the river. 5 osprey in a bunch hovering. Probably large bunch of bait fish. Very cool.
