Had the Dogfish Head World wide stout on tap tonight at Mohawk House, Sparta...yummy...then got a growler of the Southern Tier Imperial Oat stout to go...a little sweet, but good...
 
Guinness Foreign Extra

Just tried the Guinness Foreign Extra. 7.5 % and tastes like the real deal!

currently enjoying a Stone Ruination IPA.

first time. I have heard such good things about it that I figured I had to try it. while IPAs are my favorite beer, I am not a huge fan of SUPERhoppy IPA. so, I am pleasantly surprised that it is not as intense/hoppy/bitter as I suspected. tastes like a slightly more hoppy Smuttynose IPA.

Really?? It was a Ruination and not Levitation? Ruinations is through the roof with IBU's. Check the date, is it an old bottle? Aging tames the bitter bite.

A fresh bottle of Ruination should pucker your face, especially if you dont like super hoppy ale.... 🙂

Anyone catch the special on Dogfish Heads Bitches Brew last night? Looks like some interesting stuff!

Ruination for sure. perhaps my pucker-tolerance has increased more than I realized 😉 it was more tasty than pucker-inducing for me. smelled and tasted delicious.

Its a Stout night...

first a Guinness
then an Ipswich Oatmeal
and for dessert, a Young's double chocolate
 
Found & drinking Dogfish Head Bitches Brew...really tasty stout- taste chocolate and some other really good flavors...smooth w/ a little kick...definitely recommend.
