What have you done to your bike today?

Anyone want this? XL Sirrus 2.0. I put a road fork and wheel up front because the stock fork was damaged in shipping. Brand new, never ridden. Except for the front wheel. Otherwise, dumpster.

Replaced front brake pads...they are tight, because I mistakenly bought 2.03 thick rotors instead of 1.87 because I didn't pay attention.
The pads DO go in and I can get them on the rotor, but the wheel has a very slight drag. 17 mile ride took care of the slightly tight wheel.
It's fine now. 😛

I made the exact same mistake but I couldn't handle the drag so I got the correct one. When the pads wear down a bit then I'll throw the thicker rotor on and see how that goes. Might be a bad idea but I've had plenty of bad ideas in the past so we'll see.

Yesterday I tried putting my gravel bike on the trainer to dial in my fit a bit better. Stripped out the mech hanger.

so today at work for the first hour. I drilled out the hanger. Had a longer bolt from my pivot 429 trail. That will now go through the hanger and have a nut outside the hanger . Had to cut off the tapered washer from the old bolt.

I may have get a different nut or just grind I'd down to fit the frame. Hope it works. 🙂

EDIT.. Not as terrible as I thought it would be.
