Well if you made it to work...at least you have an air compressor. Auto parts store or walmart nearby? Take the wheel off and plug it.Got a flat this morning. What do we do with these cars that don't have a spare tire? I had some Fix-A-Flat but that only got me to work.
If it's just a nail or a small bolt, pull it out and put a plug in it.Got a flat this morning. What do we do with these cars that don't have a spare tire? I had some Fix-A-Flat but that only got me to work.
The M3 had an "M Mobility Kit", which was basically a can of fix a flat and battery powered inflator. Totally useless the one time I tried to use it.I mean like for a roadside fix. I also don't have a jack.

Then you’ll have to replace the bumper when they rip it off getting it onto the flatbed.Yeah. I was gonna get the Slime one just to have but it seems like I'll just make a mess and call AAA anyway.
Yes, RainX is a long standing product for glass but its not as long lasting. @shrpshtr325@DownhillR3 @Carson is rainx still the gold standard for windshield treatments? or is there something better thats worth the cost/effort? with a clean windshield im willing to explore if theres something thats a nice upgrade in performance and durability.

I personally have used Adams Glass Coating for years and recently this year put on Gyeon Glass Coating on my personal vehicle. So far, so good. Anything over 37-38mph I never use my windshield wipers, same results as the Adams but I will see how long the Gyeon holds up.
Also installed coating on top of my windshield which is covered in Stek windshield film, 8mil thick which is used on track cars so you never get a rock chip or pitting. Driving a car with this installed is so much nicer to never have to worry about rock chips. The ceramic glass coating required two coats to start working on this film.
Not sure why you couldn't install it on a Porsche windshield... I literally have 8mil thick film (similar to what people install on front bumpers, hoods, fenders) over my entire windshield and still coated it.
I used Aquapel a few times back in the day and that stuff was ridiculous. Lasted much longer and better than RainX. The thing is that I feel like the newer ones are fake replicas or they changed something in the formula. If you got a whiff of that stuff when you cracked the cartridge you basically pass out. That being said, just use RainX, lol.@DownhillR3 @Carson is rainx still the gold standard for windshield treatments? or is there something better thats worth the cost/effort? with a clean windshield im willing to explore if theres something thats a nice upgrade in performance and durability.

My 2006 R53 MINI didn't come with a spare, although the base Cooper (R50) did come with a compact spare (in the R53, the battery and exhaust take of the space the spare goes in the non-supercharged R50). So I bought a compact spare and keep it wedged behind the driver's seat. When new, MINI got around the lack of a spare by fitting runflat tires to all of the R53 models. Since runflat tires basically suck and I run normal tires on the car in the Summer, I keep the spare with me. My winter tires actually are runflats, but I still keep the spare as a "suspenders" thing... I also bought the R50 jack and keep that in the back as well.I mean like for a roadside fix. I also don't have a jack.

My ex- used to make and sell custom bags for storing the compact spare inside MINIs (and later - Smart cars), although she stopped some years ago. It made carting around a spare tire inside the car a bit cleaner.
Same for our '19 Cooper S convertible. Wife's daily driver so she'll have to deal with it. 😛My 2006 R53 MINI didn't come with a spare, although the base Cooper (R50) did come with a compact spare (in the R53, the battery and exhaust take of the space the spare goes in the non-supercharged R50).
