Whats the connection between mtb and beer?

every race I've been to has a keg(s) and there's a beer forum on this board.

what's the connection?

I mean, I doubt there's a beer forum on a road bike website(or do they have a forum about wine and/or sparkling water)?

believe me, I aint complainin', just wondering.

There's a medical study I posted somewhere. Conclusion - beer better for recovery for athletes than water. Or placebo.

Gtluke asked this once.

Here it is. This was my answer.

Wild guess here. But given the prevalence of liquor stores in the world, I'm guessing many people like to drink beer and wine. And bikers are a subset of people, at least I think.

The last thread made it to the garbage heap. So...keep it happy :getsome:

Embrace it 😉

I am sure there is an equally awesome quote for MTB'ing😎

I find there to be a connection between outdoorsy people and micro brews. All of the big micro brew scenes are in towns and cities that also have abig outdoors scene.

I don't know why that is but i know that i am in to it and am trying to find myself a way into that scene.

But I ride a SS, don't have a beard, and I don't drink beer.

Does that make me a trifecta social outcast?:cry::cry:

yeah man, you're all messed up in your crazy ways... perhaps one day, you will see the light.

Although, I ride an SS and I also do not have a beerd. I do however, drink my share, and your share of beer.
