Wild Cat East Tour

Very technical trails on this side of the park. Follow the ride leader he knows it well. Hey if your not comfortable on some of the features there is no shame in walking down it or going around. That being said it’s not for beginners for sure. Wish I could be there but I’m out for a bit.

Directions?

The parking area is where you and @shrpshtr325 entered the woods that day when you failed at following my GPX file 😛

In the meet up but @JimN ssys to use

1 fernhollow rd boonton

It's at the end of Hillcrest/beginning of Fernhollow. 1 Fernhollow is the closest house to it, although it looks like maybe the parking area has its own address of 98 Hillcrest? Not really sure, but it looks like this:

It's a small gravel parking area with a red sign that says Koehler Trail. Just after the parking area on the left in this pic is a woods road with a chain across it.

Weekdays are tough so maybe a weekend tour some time soon. My house after for wood splitting and burgers.

I'm giving a Wildcat tour tomorrow morning but should be done by noon. What are you doing tomorrow afternoon?

You will be very missed.

I wouldn't want you to hate life when you are out in the middle of the woods in a place you haven't ridden. You will need good fitness and reasonable bike handling skill. There are some good climbs.

Lost in Wildcat? That's never happened to anyone.
