Ive got a neighbor that feeds strays. Incidentally the vultures scare everything away and eat the food she puts out...

Pops up on local Facebook group every couple of years with someone calling for a welfare check. Guy apparently feeds the vultures.

Yes. They eat big amounts of fish, which there isn't this time of year. It seems more of a layover because they were gone after5 or 6 hours.

Home this week. Buddy came up and I caught em outside the window.

I came across this guy yesterday. His coloring was so bright I thought he was fake. I’ve seen plenty of salamanders but not this one. It was pretty cold when I saw him so I moved him off the trail so he could live another day.
