World's smallest bike rack?

If I rode a Walmart bike I probably wouldn't mind but no way I'd put my bike on that thing... actually I still wouldn't use it because it's just resting on the saddle and it's gonna bounce around... besides, in the time it took to watch this video I can take my 1upUSA rack out of my trunk, mount, open, and load my my bike with time to spare...

I would never use that product.

I would never trust suction cups.

what keeps the bike from pivoting when you go around a turn?

what prevents the bike from bouncing up and down if you hit a bump?

who the hell want to spend 5 minutes assembling their back rack every ride?

who the hell wants to carry their back rack in a fanny pack while they ride?

From what I've read elsewhere the suction cup method seems pretty damn strong. I'd have trouble trusting it at first tho.

Where it does seem nice is if you're traveling. I like to fly into a place with my bike, but then have no car rack. It could come in handy in those situations.

This would be my main 2 concerns. But I suppose you could use a couple more straps.

I still wouldnt use it. At least not for MY bikes 🙄

great idea. this guy is a genius. I want one. never know when you'll need it. Only thing i would add is another strap to hold the seat against the body of the car so the thing don't dent the car from smacking it. i hope he guarantees the suctions will hold.

I just bought a mini bomber 2 bike rack and it is great, on and off so easily, easy to switch between cars and store in the trunk when not using it. The vacuum pumps are not going anywhere, super solid and with 4 cups there is redundancy if by chance something failed. Great for mounting on the back glass of the SUV. Really could not be happier with this rack.

You are supposed to moisten the cups before attaching them and I bought a little spray bottle to mist the cups, one word of advice use bottled water or you can risk a hard water stain on your car by using tap water, stain will come out with vinegar but easy to avoid by using bottled or distilled water.

We use large cups with the same sort of vacuum pumps at work, and I have had issues with the seal in the pump allowing it to come loose from time to time. Don't think I'd feel comfortable trusting them holding weight on the back of a moving/bouncing vehicle, even if they were fine 90%+ of the time. If they come free that bike isn't in the most stable position, so you're going to end up with a bicycle pendulum hanging off the back of your car.
