Should I be concerned about this scratch on a carbon fiber steerer tube? Brand new bike, looks like it happened during assembly. Was in the process of putting a shorter stem on it but I’m not sure now if this is OK.

I think I whacked the derailleur hanger. Hopefully I'll get to check it out this weekend after I'm done with the "honey do" list.

Yeah, i torque everything especially carbon. I didn’t assemble this though.

On a closer look it appears it’s a mark from the stem. There’s a rough edge on the inside where it mates to the fork steerer, I can flake the raised aluminum off with my fingernail. It matches up perfectly with the scratch as it’s on the same angle.

Dress the [edge of the?] stem clamp slot with a piece of emery cloth or a key file.

Pretty normal for...pretty much everything that isn't explicitly stated for use for CF composite to have burrs, etc.

Removed the sponge that was a tire insert in the rear wheel of my Orbea . I'm not using them anymore.
Topped off sealant front and rear.

It’s Fixed Endurance Road Geometry? Basically same Geo as Rusty with a tighter back end and shorter top tube.

Here’s maybe a better picture. Bars could actually go all the way down but I like the gold spacer 😂
