This Thread Blows - C19 and beyond

which day did you want. they are on the top of the list every day.
At least they are trending in the right direction. slowly.

Wouldn't one logically assume the day I posted?

Seriously, the bottom line is everything is open, things are getting back to normal, unemployment is close to pre-pandemic levels (we were at 3.3% pre, now at 4.8%. NJ was 3.7% pre, now still a pitiful 7.5%) and even with a significantly lower vaccination rate (we are almost at 50% with one dose) - every covid metric continues to improve.

PS adios masks!

that was yesterday - which is the day i took the snap-shot.
the original post dig, was the day before?
they all kinda look the same anyway.
guess Fla could bask in not being #1 by pop adjusted, #2 or #3 is considered a win there.

yes, continued limited employment opportunities is a recoverable cost. as opposed to hospitalizations of the uninsured.
(that sounded good, even if not fact checked.)

You did a yesterday view yesterday - i.e. sunday. Population adjusted not even top 10 - but once again, thanks for playing!

Time to start the Wildly Spreading STD thread.
I read an article about pent-up demand.

No I am not old like Rick. I am in NH about to go downhilling.
Last year me and Joy were working at Panera outside in NH I think coming back from the biking weekend in Lyme. July? Everyone has masks on because it's Panera. I decided to walk over to Walmart to get wiper blades. Greeter had a mask on.

Inside the store, not a single customer had a mask on. Which to me was interesting because if I was to pick a high risk group, it would be the shoppers at Walmart in NH.

So yesterday we had a presentation at work and I sent a message on Slack to the office that we're having lunch, and the presentation but everyone must wear their masks because the virus is still active until Midnight, by declaration of the Governor.

My boss runs into my office panicking that I can't say that. It turns out the current rules as of today seem to be you don't need your masks outdoors, in stores, dancing halls, bars or sporting events.

But you need them in offices unless you are vaccinated.

Foodtown near Hartshorne replaced "masks required" sign with sign that basically says it is up to you. Most patrons and employees were not wearing masks (me included).
