Everyone that's come into the shop today and all of the people walking around town are wearing masks still. What the shit?

That is me. I am not sure what I am supposed to do even though I am fully vaccinated, so for now I am defaulting to mask when I go to stores 🤷‍♂️

I stopped at at deli in high bridge. I had a mask in hand just in case. Nobody inside was wearing one so I slipped it back in my pocket. Took me about 1 second to adjust.

Even my company is keeping the mask requirement.

Over the US, keeping mask requirement until further notice.

Bridgewater Wegman's still more than 50% with masks. Thought it would be less than that.

Princeton is probably 80/20 for masks. Part of it is that many place still have the sign on the door.

I'll use the line my mom used to use when I was a kid when I would use the excuse, "...but everyone else was doing it, too." So, if everyone else was jumping off a bridge would you do that too?

I'm defaulting to no mask. It is not a gesture of insensitivity to others or a political statement. I am vaccinated. I believe in science. That is all.

Went to shop rite last night. Sign on door says unvaccinasted patrons wear a mask. No mask for me and only like 2 other people we saw in the store. Everyone else had one on. Including my wife who was uncomfortable standing out without one (we awre both vaccinated)

I am usually in the camp of better safe than sorry... but if not wearing a mask means I will get treated like a leper and ppl will keep their distance from me.... I am burning the mask.
