Why's that, real question. Don't understand the application. Been happy with my Kinekt post on the gravel bike
Takes all the quantitative religion out of seatpost adjustment. get on, set it so you're comfortable, get into the habit of adjusting now and then while riding to keep comfort level high. Why's that, real question. Don't understand the application. Been happy with my Kinekt post on the gravel bike
Not that is needed, but I can confirm. I rode my El Gravelachi with a rigid seat post and drop bars coming down the new Ringwood-Ramapo and it was unsettling, scary stuff. Not sure why you would do it but if you do that's the way (with a dropper that is).Because gravel bikes descend sketchy AF with their low weight and skinny tires. You have so much more confidence letting it all hang out with the seat out of the way. I also use it through washboards where you don't want to have weight on the saddle. I'll drop it like 10mm so I can hover my butt.

There's even more mundane stuff - With seat at a riding level, my Tracer's sometimes hard for me to get a leg over. It needed one of my riding friends to point out that I should simply use the dropper.I think it's exactly the same as riding a dropper on the MTB. Once you do it you couldn't possibly imagine not doing it.
Much worse, my SS El Mariachi doesn't have a dropper post and yet when I rode the same trail it wasn't even close in terms of sketchiness to the same frame in Gravel configuration, if anything it's the drop bars.I think it's exactly the same as riding a dropper on the MTB. It's NOT the time, but how many miles, rightLeft it at the shop after last nights ride. Rear hub is failing, hope it's just a rebuild. Not real happy with these I9 hubs, this is the 2nd one in less than 6 months. ☹️

Had the front explode on me coming down Cosmic Charlie back in the beginning of July, hope it's just the bearings on this one. Still waiting for Marty's to give me the news.2nd time putting bearings in it? Or putting the pawl springs back? Or is it the I9 hubshell explosion?
Thanks for the bar pic. I was thinking of going with the gold decals when I order mineTesting out set up and orientation with different bars, grips, stack height etc. I've come to find out I much prefer the One Up bar with ODI grips. With 18mm of spacers under stem (photo shows slammed stem).
