What have you done to your bike today?

Why's that, real question. Don't understand the application. Been happy with my Kinekt post on the gravel bike

Because gravel bikes descend sketchy AF with their low weight and skinny tires. You have so much more confidence letting it all hang out with the seat out of the way. I also use it through washboards where you don't want to have weight on the saddle. I'll drop it like 10mm so I can hover my butt.

Not that is needed, but I can confirm. I rode my El Gravelachi with a rigid seat post and drop bars coming down the new Ringwood-Ramapo and it was unsettling, scary stuff. Not sure why you would do it but if you do that's the way (with a dropper that is).

I think it's exactly the same as riding a dropper on the MTB. Once you do it you couldn't possibly imagine not doing it.

There's even more mundane stuff - With seat at a riding level, my Tracer's sometimes hard for me to get a leg over. It needed one of my riding friends to point out that I should simply use the dropper.

Much worse, my SS El Mariachi doesn't have a dropper post and yet when I rode the same trail it wasn't even close in terms of sketchiness to the same frame in Gravel configuration, if anything it's the drop bars.

Left it at the shop after last nights ride. Rear hub is failing, hope it's just a rebuild. Not real happy with these I9 hubs, this is the 2nd one in less than 6 months. ☹️

It definitely has some miles on it, maintained miles. Front hub cracked, replaced with Shimano. Now the rear is making all kinds of creaking and running with a rumble. Hope it's just bearings and not a catastrophic failure like the front was. But I do agree, it takes a beating with every ride !!!
