that’s not necessarily what posters ‘think’. You can’t cover all possible risks so some choices are to be made, and it’s not necessarily a call for the engineers to make. Not at SRAM, nor at Shimano or anywhere else.I find it amusing Internet posters think SRAM's engineers completely forgot to account for the derailer being attached to the frame.
