What are you watching now?

I was missing the Breaking Bad / Saul style so I started looking up Vince Gilligan's next projects. I got sidetracked and never figured it out.

In the meantime we've gone down the rabbit hole of weird/depressing documentaries.

Take Care of Maya - this is incredibly sad, you will cry multiple times. It's also a sad reality for any family facing a rare disease

Curious Case of Natalia Grace - very odd story, also a bit sad but in a different way.

Going to cleanse the pallette with the new season of True Detective, hoping it's good.

You may have seen it but if you want a weird/depressing/crazy documentary, it's pretty hard to top "Dear Zachary". Maybe after the latest season of True Detective...

We are struggling to find anything good to watch and came across this mini series on Netflix.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

Psychological thriller kinda deal which started out pretty good but ended weird.

We are part way through Fool Me Once it’s pretty good so far even if some of the scenarios are a bit beyond realistic. I won’t detail anything to not spoil it.

If you're looking for something uplifting then watch Coda. It won couple Oscars in 2021 if that means anything.

just watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood... and, although there are a number of really good performances, i just really didn't like it.

Also downloaded @2Julianas suggestion of Bodies to start watching on the plane... only 1 episode in so far so withholding my opinion on that for now.

I remember coming across this one, can't recall if we started it. I will take another look

Every episode. And yes, all dialogue-heavy.

I thought season 1 was tremendous, though it was so dark that it legitimately depressed me.

Thought season 2 was a mess, in spite of the personnel.

Enjoyed season 3 more than 2; mostly due to Mahershala Ali’s greatness.

Agree on both 1&2 for the most part. Haven’t gotten to 3&4 yet. But I will.

Anybody watching Monarch? I’ve watched every episode so far and I’m not sure if it’s good or not.
