For trail riding. I have the toughest time finding good fitting knee pads that is also comfortable (doesn't get too hot) and provide adequate impact protection that extends to the sides of my knees. I don't know if I have weird proportions but the ones that I've tried so far tends to slide or shift due to pedaling motions. Also for some reason I smash the insides of my knees against the headset quite often when I have to shift around going over techie sections so I need padding there. The Leatts I'm using now is the best so far but not perfect. The right pad tends to slide down a bit and the bottom tip of the protective padding will bunch up against the bottom stretch band so I would have to pull up on it every so often during a ride. Also it's the slip on kind so makes it tough to slide them off when my legs are all sweaty after a ride. Otherwise they're pretty comfortable and very breathable. These new ones are the 2 buckle system so getting them on and off should be a breeze with magnetic Fidlock V-Buckles on one side and Velcro on the other. Once you use the Velcro straps to set the desired length then you leave it alone and just use the magnetic lock to get them on and off. These look pretty burly, for trail riding or dh?
Indeed they are. His demonstration is what got me to look into them. These look like the ones Seth was talking about….
I've had good luck with a SunRace cassette I had.Going to try this to adapt my spare wheels for the gravel bike so I can use them for road riding. Old bike was Shimano new bike is SRAM AXS.
Paid for with Amex bonus points and a gift card so zero out of pocket.

thanks I went back and forth between trying to buy new wheels and selling the ones I have, or changing freehub and came back to this as the cheapest/easiest option to try.I've had good luck with a SunRace cassette I had.
Nice price. I always bought shimano or sram depending on my bike. How is the wear and shifting on the sunrace?Going to try this to adapt my spare wheels for the gravel bike so I can use them for road riding. Old bike was Shimano new bike is SRAM AXS.
