Post your BooBoo's

they are .4 stitches, apparently that means they are super thick. I asked why so few and they said if this was my face, it would have been 40-50 stitches.

Oh I have multiple pairs, this is all on me, I need to wear them all the time, not just creek and rocky places.
ouch! yeah man sorry to see this.

I tell everyone yeah wear knee pads on a MTB and I won't ever ride without them ever again. If I wasn't wearing my knee pads on my crash back in Oct, I might still be recovering from major knee surgery according to the doc - got off lucky with minor fractures to patella and top of Tibia. I was only down for about 2 weeks but I had no major gash like that.

Heal up fast.

Out doing some road miles in the wind, a “men working “ sign got blown into me and I went OTB at about 15 mph.

been a while since I visited this thread thankfully.

today's minor injury comes as the result of forgetting how to make a slow left turn on my road bike and basically tipping over in slow motion before I could unclip. and then having people you know witness it since i was .5 miles from my house.

rode back home, put a bandage over it and went back out for my lunch ride. looked worse before I cleaned it up but its really not that bad. Glad to not get a real injury and that I fell to the non drive side and didnt damage my bike.

And we’re back. Yup I was just here Thursday after my stupid road ride rip over.

Todays “crash” was along the boardwalk section of the McDade trail during our gravel ride. Came around a right hand corner and it was slick with moss like residue almost as slipper as ice. Front wheel washed out and I literally hit the deck.

Luckily again it was low speed but I landed on my right side this time. I think somehow the bike hit me on the inside of my knee because that’s worse than the outside of my knee where I landed on the ground. Also banged my hip it’s sore but nothing showing yet.

I was able to get back on and ride another 40+ miles without it really bothering me too much. Bike was also 100% fine and since I didn’t land in the road or gravel the rear der wasn’t even scratched or damaged.

Cleaned up much better than it looked but right now icing the knee just to take the swelling down a bit.

Now I have matching bruises on each knee 🤦🏻‍♂️
