Things that make you smile :)

Have a leaky shower head. I emailed Moen looking for a small part that I couldn't find for sale anywhere. They replied with a tracking number for a whole new faucet, despite being close to 10 years old and not having any type of receipt.

Definitely not like doing business with the bike industry.

I had a similar experience with a Kohler kitchen faucet probably around the same age. I inquired about trying to replace the torn rubber around the spray head and they just mailed me an entirely new assembly.

Now that my son has gotten more comfortable on his 2wheeler, we've been riding the bike path at Loantaka. He's purposely running over every bump, hole and stick on the path. I may have a little mountain biker yet!

Well, we did it! First off-road experience at Tourne last weekend. From the parking lot to the lake club and back. It was humbling for him on 16" wheels, but he did great, with minimal whining. Wasn't too excited to go back though, but we'll see. Maybe Santa will bring something to help with that.

Yeap.

It's good enough that it's the second one I bought. Of course they cheapened it *just* ever so slightly but it's still worth it. Previous one for car tools in the garage, this one more for bike/misc tools in the basement.

10% back if you pay via Chase through Paypal.

i have been looking for a large one to go on sale (think 36-48inch) to put all my car tools into, my two 26inch stacks are full :/

i bought a 32 (i think) 'workbench' style bottom cabinet from lowes a couple years back for bike stuff. works well and has a usable top surface which is always a plus.

I went with one of the us general roller boxes from harbor freight and it felt much more solid and the drawers are smoother than the ones i looked at in the big box stores. Definitely worth looking at them if you haven't already

i left this on the garbage can for the garbage men this morning with a little ziplock bag of candy in the mailbox for them

i saw them see the little cartoon and grab the candy... then heard them honk the horn as they drove off (which totally made me giggle)... then i went to grab the can from the curb and saw their little thank you note on the back 😃

It's amazing how little it takes to make someone else's day a little better...almost as amazing as how few are the people that actually do it! Kudos @MissJR !

I think if I tried this on my street, it would be a big fail. My garbage company uses that automated grabber arm thingy to lift and dump the can. It's a one-man operation; he doesn't get out of the truck.

I do wonder if I made the sign big enough would he get out? And made it beer instead of candy?

OK, might need to experiment.

You need a “Free Candy” van in your driveway.

not sure if this should go here or in bad driving, so im putting in both places. the cop is right there where you need him

What are we looking at other than you tailgating a Tesla, antagonizing it trying to pass it on the right and consequently getting smoked after triggering the driver into speeding and then getting caught by the Trooper? Just for reference, at what speed the whole exchange happened? From the video itself I'm not sure the bad driving is only on the part of the Tesla...

there was no tailgating, tesla squeezed into gap, slowed to 50 and then needlessly dragged tail when traffic sped up, when i finally went to pass he took off and got snagged by the cop

I watched the beginning of the video again, sorry for the misunderstanding...you seemed pretty close by the time you went to pass. But yes, I did read it wrong. Sorry.

lol thats what happens if you accelerate before pulling out of your lane when going to pass (which is how it really SHOULD be done).

either way you look at it the smile is still the cop getting the asshole in the tesla
