Tariffs...what to make of them.

You've playing semantics, racist.
I'm pointing out a refusal to be wrong. And if not even something as trivial as that can be accepted, there's no point in any further discussions.

And you, yea, you just resorted to name calling. Obviously no reason to debate anything with you either.

Dude, if you can't even understand what a majority is, and say that trump did not get a majority of the votes. Which doesn't even matter, cause you're right, he is the president, he did get more votes than Kamala, and won the popular vote. Then there is absolutely no point in having any conversation regarding politics with you. Because it's painfully obvious that you'll refuse to see any negative in a trump presidency. And I'm just not gonna waste my breathe any longer.

I already have noted I can’t believe he became the president. He was not my first, second or third pick for candidate. I also noted reasons why I feel he became the president - you have not responded to any of them.

You have refused to show any negativity of the previous administration and continue to blast the current president.

Further you generalized the votes that got him elected as uneducated while people”. So the reason Trump is the president is because of “uneducated white people” - okay, then what are these people missing and how did the Harris campaign not reach them?

I will talk about the current administration, but the body of the people who are not in favor of Trump want to regurgitate nonsense that in fact contributed to his election.

So, @Doom , I could see the racism in my comments, but I think the racism is in the votes for donnie, not in my reporting of how the demographics have voted.

You may want to look at the article below NPR among many news outlets cites that major contributions were a shift in votes under thirty to the right, Latino voters shifting to the right and dwindling Black support for Democrats. Yes white votes remains steady for Trump.

Why do you think the other demographics changed?

Why do you think the other demographics changed?
Ya know, I honestly don't know. Haven't put much thought into it. Those shifts wouldn't have been enough alone though, it truly was the uneducated white male vote that got the win.

I think our current two party system is shit all around. I don't like the Democrats or the Republicans. But I absolutely hate the fact that this country voted for hated and division, for a felon rapist. It's really quite disgusting honestly. We need to get the money out of politics, but instead we let the wealthiest man on the planet basically buy the election for trump. And he's currently capitalizing on his investment. You really think this administration is for the middle class? Cause I think we're just throwing more money into the pockets of billionaires while they make us fight with one another.

Time out for ruling:

When there are more than 2 options, a winner with less than 50% of the votes is deemed to have won by a plurality.
The judge feels that Chris is attempting to catch John on a technicality, but hasn't yet used the word plurality.
John did post a definition including the word plurality, but did not cite it.

.5 for each side.

Resume, civilly.

So what you are saying if you don't have a degree your uneducated and you're too stupid to make a right decision yourself.
Exactly the arrogance that helped Trump get elected. Lots of degreeless but full of life educated folks but I guess you show what you think of them !
No, this is just how you're interpreting my comments. The only demographic that education level changed the vote is among white males. I was an uneducated white male into my mid 30's, and I don't find anything wrong with life experience outside of education. I've worked in the trades for most of my life, and I don't know how to say this correctly, but there is a lot of racism dug deep down into the culture of white dudes, and this is new jersey, so it's gotta be terrible in the less diverse states. I think what a college education brings to the table is taking people out of what they're used to. It puts them in rooms with all different cultures and viewpoints and really allows for a wider view of the world. And I think this is part of why there is such a disparity between the way white men vote differently based on education. This country was brought up segregated, the white man was always on top of the totem pole. And it's not hard to believe that white people today feel threatened that their dominance is coming to an end. Have you ever seen white supremacists come out in mass in support of a presidential candidate like they have for trump? And now we're seeing the repercussions of that. We're dismantling DEI in our country (which helps us all, not just minorities, good luck saying you were wrongly terminated anymore, employers will do whatever they want now) because we think it gives non -whites an advantage, and we're kicking out illegals (who aren't white), but then trump is signing executive orders to call South African minorities (white people) refugees and welcoming them into the states???? I don't know. If you can't see the racism in this administration and the folks that voted for it, I don't know how I can make it any clearer.

What the hell is wrong with me. I'm loving this.

By the way, I abhor trump. But he is the president. He won. I wasn't a huge fan of Biden, but he was the President, he won.

Trump is a felon, meaning he was convicted of a felony. What other definition would you need?

Can we all stipulate these facts and move on to other arguments?

Trump is also a scumbag, but that doesn't mean Biden didn't lie when he said he wouldn't pardon Hunter, I'm not sure what one has to do with other. It's too bad a guy like Kasich couldn't get the nomination, way back when, he seemed decent.

Trump also interfered with the transfer of power in 2021. Is this going to far, or would people disagree? His own Vice President has said he put himself above the constitution. How much more would you need? Jan 6 is a black eye for the USA, whether you agree or not, it was not just another day at the capital.

None of this matters, he's the president, and if you hate him like I do, you'll just have to suck it up for another 4 years and hope we can get some better candidates next time around.

If that's all they have then I understand their frustration. There are half a dozen more examples by others making that sign but that would be too inconvenient so they just pretend they don't exist and also pretend others don't know they exist. Anyway, as you were.

The NY felony case was a malicious political prosecution, timed to inflict the most damage to Trump during the ‘24 campaign. Even Bragg said previously that there was no case, of course that changed when the timing was right. An assistant AG even left the DOJ to go help Bragg prosecute Trump, Matthew Colangelo if anybody needs to verify.

34 misdemeanors, turned into felonies by combining with crimes that weren’t disclosed until after closing arguments. Even then the jury didn’t have to agree on any particular crime to convict. Was always under the impression convictions need to be unanimous, the SC thinks so. Gag order on Trump while everybody else gets to say whatever they want including the judges daughter, who was raising 10’s of millions of dollars off of this. Kangaroo court, wouldn’t even allow a proper defense and testimony. An NDA and extortion payment is not a campaign contribution and even if it was you can give as much money as you want to your own campaign.

The goal was to label Trump a felon and again get Stormy to tell everybody the story behind how she extorted Trump in the headlines. Pretty sure it backfired spectacularly but now you can throw around the felon label until the appeal happens. It won’t stand and those behind the lawfare should be held accountable with their methods exposed.
Oh, so we believe in a judicial system and innocent till proven guilty but only sometimes. I totally get it now.

Lol. I put the proof in the pudding. Elon is a smart enough guy to know exactly what he was doing. Zero empathy or sincerity there. It’s no different than the idiots saying the past election was rigged because Trump said so even though he admitted he lost fair and square.
