Oh come on, nothing happens in 4 years but the same old thing that's happening now. Someone else gets elected, and the "losing" side will bitch, moan, cry, then crawl up on their high-horse and pretend to be more enlightened than the "winning" side. I mean, there have been few good points made, but that is what this thread is, which is micro version of what is happening in our broader society. The circle of life continues.

Trump claims "US authority" to take Gaza
From CNN's Donald JuddPresident Donald Trump told reporters at the White House Tuesday that he believes the United States “will have Gaza,” citing “US authority” to claim the enclave.
“We’re going to have it, we’re going to keep it, and we’re going to make sure that there’s going to be peace and there’s not going to be any problem, and nobody’s going to question it, and we’re going to run it very properly,” Trump said during a meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah II on Tuesday.
The president said he’d like to see Gaza developed into lucrative property for resorts and office buildings. Pressed by reporters in the Oval Office for what would allow the United States to seize control of the sovereign territory of Gaza, Trump replied, “under US authority.”
Also on Tuesday, Trump rebuffed the idea that the US might purchase the land in question.
“We’re not gonna have to buy … we’re gonna have Gaza, we don’t have to buy, there’s nothing to buy,” he said. “It’s a war-torn area. We’re going to take it, we’re going to hold it, we’re going to cherish it, we’re going to get it going eventually, where a lot of jobs are going to be created for the people in the Middle East. It’s going to be for the people in the Middle East, but I think it could be a diamond.”
What a wild turn around. Protests all over from Palestinians in the US for the US providing weapons to Israel to level Gaza. Asked for Biden's head, up ended some of the primary to not support the dems. Now, Trump rolls out that the US will own Gaza and displace the already displace people and oh, maybe you can come back and work here but you probably can't come back to live here.

First of all, you all need to save the false outrage for the people of Palestine, where was it for the last 4 years, and the 4 before that, etc.? You're all now bleeding hearts for the people of the Middle East? Second, you actually believe this? like Israel is going to say "sure, come and take it, its now yours. We've been fighting over it for the last 60years or so, but you have it". I have bridge to sell you also.

You are missing my tone, there is no bleeding heart for Palestine and my post didn't touch on that. The issue will never be solved given how Israel was created.
Ofcourse it isn't as easy as buying gaza, but many of these people just believe it is ok because Trumps says it is. Especially when you have Netanyahu standing up there with him.
Trump has always said he likes Israel. So why not just take it?

Those of us that have been in industry for any number of years greater than 30 have undoubtedly seen the style of "management by conflict." The Middle East is only going to be "governed by conflict."
The ONLY way the Middle East will ever be in harmony is after the desert sands are turned to glass. If those guys aren't fighting, they've really got nothing else going on. Ok maybe petroleum.,and petroleum products.
Not saying that's what path I would take, obviously not a path anyone wants to see.; but the only way to harmony. Glass.

Lets put aside the fact that this will never happen, but who are all these many people that "believe its ok" and believe that this will actually happen? Have you taken a poll? If everyone is going to spend the next 4years getting whipped up into a frenzy over every shittin thing he says, your stress levels are going to go through the roof. I think everyone needs to take a chill pill, microdose, or have a drink and relax, dry January is over.
Yes, you got me, I didn't do a poll however NPR did report on Trumps current rating and the polls regarding that the majority of his approvers assume what he says is gold. Also, the last 10 years have shown that quite a few people just love trump so much they would follow him into a buzz saw.
We know it is unlikely to happen and no one is in a frenzy over here, all I did was take your bait to dispute your claims that as as baseless as mine, maybe we should do a poll to figure this out.

You still believe polls? The polls were so accurate and in touch with what people were actually thinking and feeling leading into this election, weren't they?
This doesn't qualify as entertainment for me. I stopped watching/listening to news regularly years ago. The only news I follow is my financials, because that's what actually impacts me and provides me with actionable info. When big shit happens I tune in, but to listen to the day to day ramblings of one biased media outlet vs. the other? Nope.
