Came across this beautiful rattlesnake in Delaware Water Gap on the side of the road. I think he may have gotten run over though as he wasn't moving. I didn't get closer to check.

Had one earlier this week. Mama was somewhere close but it was crying.

saw an American Redstart today, stock photo though, it was too fast for my camera

I've seen 'em left by the fence or by a tree, but right in the middle of the lawn? Really?



A few hours later... Mom? She looked walked down to the street trees, looked again, then crossed the street and left.


When we returned later in the day, Bambi was gone, so assuming it was picked up by mom.

What's that snake?



Northern Water Snake? It was hanging out just a few feet from this lake.
