Bill s4834 passed both chambers. I'm just a Murphy signature away from being reclassified as a criminal.

Until recently I would have agreed with you.Zero percent chance anyone registers their bike. 1% chance any cop will give AF.
I still haven’t seen any support from any of the manufacturers so obviously the Industry doesn’t care in any way.
Get your now. From the article: The bill also includes a one-year ban on the sale of electric bikes online.
Damn. That's gonna be annoying because I'm sure that includes mountain bikes
That's because they know NJ is famous for passing useless "feel good" laws that don't actually "do good" and it won't be enforced. Of the 1% of law enforcement that cares, they're busy with more important things like making sure supermarkets aren't supplying plastic bags to customers.I still haven’t seen any support from any of the manufacturers so obviously the Industry doesn’t care in any way.
I can’t wait to see what the DMV looks like when people have to line up to register their electric Amazon bike
This bill is a mess
The goal of this is to give the police the power to crush surons and throttle e-motorcycles that we see on our roads.
call (609) 292-6000 or text (732) 605-5455 TODAY to stop Governor Murphy from signing S4834/A6235 into law.Such a mess.
Then they better modify the Vehicle Pursuit Policy as officers can't pursue for traffic violations as the policy stands today.
And there are like 6 NJ State Park Police officers on duty for the whole state at any one time. Maybe double that on the big summer holidays. They aren't in a position the enforce. They are currently looking to hire 20 new officers, but the pay is less than what local towns are paying, so you really have to want to be a park guy.
But did he know where his towel is?

I just called. The woman on the phone had no clue what i was talking about.
What a mess!!
Might not even need to go that far. If Murphy doesn't sign the bill, legislature has the numbers to override the veto.Anyone think as a mom Mikie could be more likely to push this through? Or no? They live in a pretty non cycling friendly area of the state.
