I can’t wait to see what the DMV looks like when people have to line up to register their electric Amazon bike

This bill is a mess

The goal of this is to give the police the power to crush surons and throttle e-motorcycles that we see on our roads.

Zero percent chance anyone registers their bike. 1% chance any cop will give AF.

I still haven’t seen any support from any of the manufacturers so obviously the Industry doesn’t care in any way.

Until recently I would have agreed with you.
However, this fall the Park Police gave me a ticket at Round Valley for Windsurfing without a USCG approved lifevest. Keep in mind I was wearing a lifevest designed for windsurfing and also a helmet and full body wet-suit. On top of that the ticket had a mandatory court appearance.
Never underestimate what bored park police will cite you for.

That's because they know NJ is famous for passing useless "feel good" laws that don't actually "do good" and it won't be enforced. Of the 1% of law enforcement that cares, they're busy with more important things like making sure supermarkets aren't supplying plastic bags to customers.

Such a mess.

Then they better modify the Vehicle Pursuit Policy as officers can't pursue for traffic violations as the policy stands today.

And there are like 6 NJ State Park Police officers on duty for the whole state at any one time. Maybe double that on the big summer holidays. They aren't in a position to enforce. They are currently looking to hire 20 new officers, but the pay is less than what local towns are paying, so you really have to want to be a park guy.
