Well here goes..... I just moved here (West Windsor) from NS, Canada.

I started biking in trails back in January of this year. I guess once I started, I was addicted!!

Since i'm new here, I have no one to ride with and no idea where the good trails are.

Any help would be awesome!!!!!!!!

Courtney

all the good trails are in the north 😉
stay away from the south/central or you'll end up buying a new bike 🙄 with bigger wheels...

Welcome!

Hi neighbor. Literally.

Hence you will be riding Central Jersey trails.

Mercer is 5 mins away great for starting out, 6 mile is 20 mins with more flow and variety. Clayton also good for beginners, probably 30 mins away. Allaire group ride is perfect for you on Tuesdays. See trail directory for those and others around you. People also post up group rides in the Rides and Races forum.

Awesome! That you guys for the info.

Im going to try Mercer Park tomorrow morning. Everyone is welcome to join ill be there at around 8am.

You'll want to ride Mercer the first time with someone who knows their way around. You'll find trails on your own, but it is a much better experience with someone who knows how to link different sections to make up a good ride.

Post up in the mercer area on here, and/or in the rides section.

I agree, I wish I could make it tomorrow morning but I will be at work by the shore @ 8 AM.
You can spend hours in Mercer County Park if you know where all the trails are and how to link the sections. It's relatively flat terrain but there is a lot of variety in the trails. I've been riding there for years and still find it loads of fun.

I would recommend the trails west of the "west Picnic area" on the trail map.
especially, the side trails!

Welcome to the forum!
