Any info on Mooch Madness?? Course? Mooch is a great place to ride and I am stoked to see a race happening, but not much talk here. Anyone doing this or want to ride Mooch the next few weeks?

Saturday will have course finalized with possibly a women's only ride later in the am. That's all I got for now.

Just registered. I'm sure the course will be awesome again!

With the risk of getting laughed off of the course I'm considering a mud gaurd for my front wheel in case we do get the customary August monsoons that turn this race into a mudfest. I rode all of the exterior trails and everything is pretty nice and dry now, but there are a handful of sections that will be mud pits come rave day.
In case that tree wasn't there when you guys rode it, there is a nice big tree down on the white after the single track.

No shame in running fenders if it makes the experience more pleasant. You'll have the last laugh when your eyes aren't burning from mud. Hopefully we get a nice dry course though!

Registration is here for anyone still on the fence!

first race

i ride mooch north often and figure this race to be a good-time / first-time. I assume Sport Class is more appropriate for first time racers?

Im about to register,,,anyone like to team up?
Let me know. Ill wait til friday lunch time to sign up.

You can do it solo!

Just bringing this up to the top to remind everyone that the race is *next* weekend. So go sign up now so I can sleep for the next bunch of days.

Does anyone have the waiver thing to pre-ride? Thinking about going on Monday to ride the course.

I'm planning to pre ride the course tomorrow, both laps starting around 8:30. It should take somewhere between 3.5 to 4.5 hours.
Would anyone like to join up?
