confirmed that. UGH sloppy mud everywhere.

I know we usually tell people "dont ride when its muddy!" but given the fact there are so few parks open, I see 6M getting more traffic than is usual this time of year.

So if you must ride in the mud...slow down. Ride easy. Dont brake so hard, especially in corners. Try to leave as little imprint as possible. It is possible to enjoy bike riding with out hammering at full speed all the time you know! Dont go around mud puddles, as that just widens the trail. And when things settle down, volunteer to help when people have to go back and fill in all those mud holes.

Went out today from 27 to s Middlebush and back, both through the twisties and the trail is clear and super fun! Thank you all who lumberjacked up the trail!!

The trails were nicely frozen between 7 and 8:30am.

The blue on Canal side is better now than before Sandy. Thanks to J and crew.

after the freeze was brutal. WE ARE IN FREEZE/THAW CYCLE NOW!

riding in the mud conditions were not fun at all. most of the slick mud was on the blue trail. the 27 side was way better. white was greasy in spots. the red trail was 100%.

what a difference a day makes. all the slop was gone as of last night, trails are essentially dry. j - you and the crew have done an awesome job. very much appreciated.
